Today I started Gone Home, and even though I only made it about an hour in (my neck and shoulder staged a full rebellion), this game already has such an incredible atmosphere.
It’s quiet, intimate, and just eerie enough to keep me leaning forward, wanting to know more. I love games that let you explore at your own pace, and Gone Home feels like stepping into a story that’s waiting patiently for you to uncover it.
Even in this short session, the house, the lighting, the little details — everything feels charged with meaning. And there are so many drawers to open! I’ll definitely be continuing this playthrough once my body stops yelling at me.
For now, here’s the first hour of wandering, wondering, and slowly piecing together the mystery ❤️
