In this episode, we chat with our guest, Lorie Van Werden shares the innovative journey of West of the Wind, a company that originated in 2007 with a focus on producing photographic prints on canvas for indoor home décor. Lorie highlighted the company's strategic pivot with the market for indoor wall decor becoming saturated. This insight led to the pioneering development of giclee canvas prints designed specifically for outdoor use, tapping into the burgeoning trend of outdoor living spaces becoming essential extensions of the home. The company has since expanded its collection to over 550 images in three sizes. These exquisite prints are available through local garden centers, patio and furniture stores, and catalog and website companies such as Gardener's Supply, Kirkland's, Wayfair, and Lamps Plus
