How hormones help, what you should expect and a little Q&A at the end that was enlightening

In this episode, Paul is joined by one of Eat To Perform's lead coaches, Crystal. The goal of this podcast was to talk about what you should expect when you get on hormones and why it won't ALL be positive from day one. (they also go over how weight loss works) They also covered some of the negatives of weight loss medication, how to counter some of those issues and why or why not it might make sense for some people.

Flexible Dieting, how to deal with plateaus and when NOT to diet

Alan is a former trainer and nutritionist who has worked with well-known clientele. He is likely better known for his research and his research review. Alan has written what I believe to be the bible of flexible dieting (basically what we do at Eat To Perform), and I have been a subscriber to his research review since 2008. This is a great podcast that ultimately ended up being too short.

Using the holiday's for a mini bulk with Paul and Becky

First we walk through what a TRUE bulk looks like, which this isn't and we typically don't do at Eat To Perform. The simple fact is most people don't want to gain 30-40 pounds to gain muscle and I literally can't recall anyone asking for that. So while this isn't that Paul walks you through how to use a bit extra weight over the holiday's to train in a way that might carryover for the rest of your life as the best way to do it.

Comparing notes on Hormone Replacement with Paul and Becky June Happy Hour

The podcast starts off with Becky's experience with testosterone pellets and then clients that are using hormones or interested start to give their experiences. There were a few questions sprinkled in related to the need for resets and why each client DOES NOT have a calorie goal as calories go higher. Lastly the show ends with Paul's experience on testosterone, gaining 10 pounds of muscle when muscle growth had seemingly stopped and trying to once again set expectations for what it's like but more importantly what it definitely isn't.
