Miya Marcano was a vibrant 19 year old with a bright future and a multitude of talents. Unfortunately, she caught the unwanted attention of a disturbed and obsessive co-worker. After refuting his advances numerous times, he broke into her apartment with a master key fob and brutally murdered her and then completed suicide. This is a tragic and cautionary case that we hope will be a wake up call to anyone living in an apartment complex to take steps to protect yourself.
