As military tensions have been mounting on the Ukrainian – Russian border, observers are trying to understand whether gas flows could be disrupted as a result. ICIS senior journalist Aura Sabadus has asked Sergiy Makogon, CEO of the Ukrainian gas transmission system operator, GTSOU, and Szabolcs Ferencz, CEO of the Hungarian counterpart, FGSZ, how the situation is seen on the ground and what measures the operators are putting in place to limit risks.
