A defiant Fed Reserve Chair Jay Powell declared at his press conference that he is not only not resigning early in the face of Trump’s criminal prosecution against him on conjured up “construction fraud” charges, but that he is willing to stay in as temporary chair if/when Trump’s pick fails to be confirmed by the Senate by Mid May, and will never leave the Fed Reserve until the criminal investigation is ended in his favor.
