In today's episode, I sat down for a conversation with registered dietitian Jessica Isaacs, who works full time as a dietitian in the NBA. We talked about her job working for the LA Clippers, and how she helps the athletes fuel for peak performance. We covered supplements (which ones are actually beneficial) and busted some sports nutrition myths. Jessica also explained what everyday athletes and fitness enthusiasts can learn from professional athletes when it comes to nutrition.
 
About Jessica
Jessica Isaacs is a Los Angeles-based Registered Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She has an eclectic career, working as a full-time dietitian in the NBA, nutrition education content creator, speaker, and operates a private practice working with competitive athletes. 
 
Jessica’s professional career as a sports dietitian began at Kobe Bryant’s MAMBA Sports Academy, where she worked with athletes from youth to professional level in a variety of sports. From MAMBA, Jessica served as the Performance Dietitian for UCLA Men’s and Women’s Basketball and is currently the Lead Sports Dietitian for the LA Clippers.
 
Jessica uses her social media to share performance nutrition education in an entertaining and engaging way, to debunk nutrition misinformation, and to disrupt diet culture.
