Theme: Traditional Lenten Songs Lead: Liz MUSIC What Wondrous Love Is This Based on the music Wondrous Love by William Walker: American Traditional What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul; what wondrous love is this, O my soul. What wondrous love is this, that caused the Lord of bliss bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul, to bear the dreadful curse for my soul! When I was sinking down, sinking down, sinking down, when I was sinking down, sinking down. When I was sinking down beneath Gods righteous frown, Christ laid aside his crown for my soul, for my soul, Christ laid aside his crown for my soul. To God and to the Lamb I will sing, I will sing; to God and to the Lamb I will sing. To God and to the Lamb who is the great I AM, while millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing, while millions join the theme, I will sing. And when from death Im free, Ill sing on, Ill sing on; and when from death Im free, Ill sing on. And when from death Im free Ill sing and joyful be, and through eternity Ill sing on, Ill sing on; and through eternity Ill sing on. Words: Anon, early American, 1867 Remember Your Love By: Darryl Ducote, Gary Daigle, Mike Balhoff REFRAIN: Remember your love and your faithfulness, O Lord. Remember your people and have mercy on us, Lord The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The Lord is my life and my refuge; when I call, He hears. If you dwelt, O Lord, upon our sinfulness, then who could stand? But with You there is mercy and forgiveness and a guiding hand. O Lord, hear the sound of my call and answer me. My heart cries out for Your presence; it is You I seek. As sentinels wait upon the daylight, wait for the Lord. I trust in your kindness and redemption; and your faithful word. Before all the mountains were begotten and earth took shape, Even then, O Lord, you were our refuge throughout ev’ry age. © Damean Music, 1978

Theme: Listeners Request Lead: Liz Thank you Lee and Alison! MUSIC At Your Gate Singer/Songwriter: Mike Mangione Come out, come out, Come meet me. I’ve been poisoned, I’ve been used. And now I’m standing at your gate. I am hanging on your gate. And I’ll be standing at your gate. In my days I ruled deception. I was king; I had control. But I deceived all those I hold, And they flanked and dug a hole, And now I’m standing at your gate. I was lost in my intentions But they were bleeding out your side While I was blinding out my eyes. When I left I had direction. I had protection; I was free. But they do not compromise. No they did not compromise. And now I’m standing at your gate. I did not come to take you; I came to let you take me in. And we are born where we begin And this fever burns within. There’s a Song of Songs you’re singing And I’ve been bleeding every line. How I want to harmonize. Yes, I need to harmonize. And I’ll be singing. Released in: 2010 (Rodzinka Records) Produced by: Duane Lundy Recorded at: Shangrila Studios, Lexington, KY Word Made Flesh playlist: https://mikemangione.com/word-made-fresh-playlist How Beautiful Singer/Songwriter: Twila Paris How beautiful the hands that served The wine and the bread and the sons of the earth How beautiful the feet that walked The long dusty roads and the hill to the cross How beautiful, how beautiful How beautiful is the body of Christ How beautiful the heart that bled That took all my sin and bore it instead How beautiful the tender eyes That choose to forgive and never despise How beautiful, how beautiful, How beautiful is the body of Christ And as He laid down His life We offer this sacrifice That we will live just as he died How beautiful, how beautiful How beautiful is the body of Christ How beautiful the feet that bring The sound of good news and the love of the King How beautiful the hands that serve The wine and the bread and the sons of the earth How beautiful, how beautiful How beautiful is the body of Christ Cry For The Desert ℗ 1990 Star Song Music

REFLECTION - Fr. Jim Cormack MUSIC by Andreas Horschel NOTES

CLICK HERE https://youtu.be/j5-ryst65wQ for video to this reflection Today is the 3rd Sunday of Lent. Gospel is JOHN 4: 5-15 ---- PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS Lord, make me an channel of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. Amen. VINCENTIAN MISSION PRAYER Lord Jesus, transform me into yourself. May my hands be your hands/ may my words be your words. Grant that everything I do/ may serve only to glorify you. I pray you to destroy in me all that is not of you. Keep me turned to you and grateful in all things/ that I may live my life in you, and by you and for you-- and truly say with St. Paul, “I live now/not I/but Christ lives in me.” Amen.
