Engaging With the Holy Spirit Through Service by Pastor Leo Bray

Introduction The cross of Jesus stands as God's invitation to humanity, an invitation to engage with the Holy Spirit through service. In John 3:16, where His sacrifice opens the door to a multitude of blessings beyond mere material prosperity. It's an invitation to understand the purpose behind Christ's sacrifice, moving beyond mere repentance to embrace adoption into God's family. Understanding our Inheritance: Hebrews 2:10 reveals the depth of God's plan, showing that Christ's suffering was necessary for bringing many sons to glory. Yet, Hosea 4:6 laments the lack of knowledge among God's people, emphasizing the importance of understanding the inheritance available through Christ. For too long, many have viewed Christianity through a lens of mere escape from damnation or compliance with religious rituals. However, Philippians 3:12-14 challenges believers to press on towards a deeper understanding and embodiment of Christ's likeness. This journey requires the Holy Spirit's revelation, as highlighted in Philemon 1:6. Emmanuel: God With Us , God through us Jesus embodies the concept of Emmanuel, which means "God with us" (Matthew 1:23). He serves as the ultimate example of God in the flesh, surpassing all previous figures such as Moses, Elijah, and Joshua. Through Jesus, God not only abides with us but also works through us, as seen in Mark 3:14. God in us - Abiding, dwelling, fellowshipping with God, personal transformation God through us - Doing, representing, communal transformation Priesthood and serving God today When we hear the term "priest," various images and roles come to mind, each with its own significance: Fetish Priest, Catholic Priest, Chief Priest Matt 26:3, Matt 14:53, High Priest, Christ the Eternal Priest Priests like Zechariah Aaronic Priesthood: This refers to the priesthood lineage tracing back to Aaron, Moses' brother, as outlined in the Old Testament. God's original intention was for all of Israel to be a nation of priests (Exodus 19:5-6). However, due to their disobedience, God selected the tribe of Levi to serve as priests instead. Despite this deviation from the original plan, God's vision was always for a people/nation devoted to Him. Levi said YES , Who will say yes ? God is always ready to walk and work with those willing to say yes to serving him. Aaron and his sons were specifically chosen to serve as priests (Exodus 28:1), marking the establishment of the Aaronic priesthood. Individuals like Zechariah, who belonged to priestly divisions, continued this legacy (Luke 1:5). Christ the Eternal Priest Hebrews 6:20 “where Jesus our forerunner has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. Jesus, as a priest in the order of Melchizedek, offers a superior priesthood that fulfills the shortcomings of the Levitical system. His priesthood is established with an oath, ensuring its permanence and efficacy (Hebrews 7). The Believer's Priesthood Believers are invited into a priesthood according to God's divine purpose (Romans 8:28-30). This priesthood involves conformity to the image of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:49), being born again through the incorruptible Word of God (1 Peter 1:23) and undergoing transformation into His likeness (2 Corinthians 3:18). Preparation and Consecration of Priests Just as priests in the Old Testament underwent preparation and consecration, believers are sanctified through the blood of Christ (Colossians 2:13, 1 Peter 1:18-19) and anointed with the Holy Spirit (Exodus 30:23-25). Work of Priests The work of priests encompasses both temple duties and community engagement. In the temple, priests offered sacrifices, led worship, and maintained cleanliness. Beyond the temple, they served as leaders, teachers, and peacemakers within their communities, reflecting God's holistic vision for His people. Conclusion We must actively participate in God's walk and work both within the church and in the world. This journey requires ongoing revelation, consecration, and a commitment to embodying the likeness of Christ in all areas of life. As we embrace this call, we step into the fullness of our inheritance as children of God and agents of His kingdom on earth +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

Engage With Holy Spirit-Greater Works

Engage with Holy Spirit-Greater Works John 14:12-18 Luke 13:10-21 March 10, 2024 Some people are crippled by suffering and others by religion. Jesus came to set people free who are crippled physically and spiritually. 1. Some are crippled by suffering. Luke 13:10-13 This woman had been crippled for 18 years. Luke uses the Greek ‘astheneia’ which means ‘weakness, fraility.’ The cause of her weakness was a demonic spirit. There are 26 recorded healings by Jesus in the Gospels, only 7 are attributed to demonic influence. She was not demon possessed but oppressed. NOTE: When Jesus cast out demons He always spoke to the demons, not the person and He never touched the person. Remember: Some things that bind us really have no power against us. Rather Satan works in the mind to convince us of our infirmity. What burdens have caused you to be crippled? Worry, Anxiety, Pain, Wounded Spirit? Remember, Jesus sees you and sees what you are hiding from others! When He touches you-you will straighten up! 2. Some are crippled by religion. Luke 13:14-17 Religion inverts priorities: it causes us to treat possessions, property, and positions better than we treat people. Religion is more determined to enforce the rules than living in a joyful relationship with Jesus! Religion restricts, makes one miserable and says if you are enjoying life you are not very spiritual. Religion is ready to condemn anyone who celebrates the power of God. God’s laws are not to restrict but to liberate! Galatians 3:24 Nothing keeps believers immature like enforcing rules! John 8:32 Keep the main thing the main thing. Matthew 22:37-40 People break easily-broken hearts, broken homes, broken bodies, broken dreams, broken hopes…..Jesus came to forgive, heal, and restore! +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

Engage in Generosity

Proverbs 3:1-10 CEV To live generously, we must trust God and He must also trust us. Living generously touches every area of our life--our time, talents, and treasure. When our relationship with God is based on trust and obedience, we will find true fulfillment in life. Proverbs 3:1-10 My child, remember my teachings and instructions and obey them completely. 2 They will help you live a long and prosperous life. 3 Let love and loyalty always show like a necklace, and write them in your mind. 4 God and people will like you and hold you in high esteem. 5 With all your heart you must trust the LORD and not your own judgment. 6 Always let him lead you, and he will clear the road for you to follow. 7 Don't ever think that you are wise enough, but respect the LORD and stay away from evil. 8 This will make you healthy, and you will feel strong. 9 Honor the LORD by giving him your money and the first part of all your crops. 10 Then you will have more grain and grapes than you will ever need. 1. These commands are all-inclusive. No exceptions-notice these words-completely, always, all, ever, all of your crops. Trust is a total affair in your heart and mind. 1 John 2:4 Matthew 7:21 2. The command precedes a promise. 3 John 1:2 The fulfillment of the promise is based on a relationship of trust and obedience! 3. The promises ARE conditional. Matthew 6:33 To live generously we must know: God is trustworthy. Isaiah 26:3-4 God has entrusted (placed within our care) the possessions, opportunities, talents, and time we now experience. We are trustees of everything God has given us. Ask: Do I trust God? Where do I place my confidence? Proverbs 18:10-11 Ask: Does God trust me? +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

Engaging With the Holy Spirit Through Love by Pastor Leo Bray

Engaging with the Holy Spirit Through Love Introduction Love, often proclaimed but sometimes misunderstood, is more than a fleeting emotion. It is a process, a journey, and a commitment that extends beyond mere feelings. In our walk with God, love is not just about professing affection; it's about actively engaging with His love and allowing it to transform our lives. Understanding the State of Love The contemporary church often proclaims love yet struggles to live it out authentically. The Scriptures warn of a time when love will wane, replaced by selfishness and worldly desires. Recognizing the signs of love growing cold is crucial in this era of spiritual decay (2 Timothy 3:1-5; Matthew 24:12; 1 John 2:15). The Source of True Love Our human love may falter, but God's love, poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, is unwavering and transformative (Romans 5:5). Understanding and experiencing the depth of God's love is fundamental to our journey of faith (2 Corinthians 13:14; Psalm 103:13; 1 John 4:16). Trusting God's Love God's love not only begets love for Him but also fosters trust in His guidance and provision. Trusting in God's ways above our own understanding leads to a deeper connection with Him (Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalms 20:7-8). How much do you TRUST GOD? Discovering God's Ways Knowing God's ways is essential for walking in His will. Yada, a Hebrew term encompassing various aspects of knowing and understanding, guides us to discern God's will through reflection, observation, and revelation (Exodus 3:7; Deuteronomy 8:5). Perceiving God's Voice Perceiving God's voice amidst the noise of life requires spiritual sensitivity. Blessed are those who see and hear beyond the physical realm, for they can discern God's leading (Matthew 13:16). God sets open doors before His people, inviting them to perceive His guidance and walk in obedience (Revelation 3:7-8). We discover His ways through dreams, circumstances, and ultimately through His Word (Isaiah 48:17; Jeremiah 29:11). We must Test what we believe GOD’S WILL is The Litmus Test of LOVE is necessary. What is a litmus Test ? Responding to Divine Guidance Without Complete Obedience we deceive ourselves that HIS LOVE IS IN US (John 14:15, 21). Obey the bible: Let your life be a fulfillment of the bible Love one another, Forgive one another, Be a witness to Others Conclusion Engaging with the Holy Spirit through love is not a passive endeavor but an active journey of faith. It involves understanding, trusting, perceiving, and obeying God's will References: • 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Matthew 24:12; 1 John 2:15; Romans 5:51 John 4:16; Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalms 20:7-8; Exodus 3:7; Deuteronomy 8:5; Isaiah 48:17; Jeremiah 29:11; Matthew 13:16; Revelation 3:7-8; Ephesians 2:10; John 14:15, 21. +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

Engage with the Holy Spirit: Living in the Spirit by Pastor Steve Dow

Engage with the Holy Spirit: Living in the Spirit John 14:16 John 16:7 January 28, 2024 In the book, “The Forgotten God: Reversing our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit” Francis Chan wrote, “From my perspective, the Holy Spirit is tragically neglected and, for all practical purposes, forgotten. While no evangelical would deny His existence…there are millions of churchgoers across America who cannot confidently say they have experienced His presence or action in their lives over the past year. And many of them do not believe they can.” Two ways we short circuit Holy Spirit’s work in our lives: 1. We can grieve the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 4:30-31 2. We can quench the Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 One of the best ways to be sure we are not grieving or quenching the Holy Spirit is to keep short accounts with God. When we sin-confess it When we wrong someone-make it right When we fail-own it Unconfessed sin the in a believer’s life is like an open wound that rots progressively and fills the air with such a pungent odor that God’s presence is repelled. Remember: God can never forgive what we never confess. How do we learn to LIVE in the Spirit. Galatians 5:25 Don’t allow your life to be explainable without the Holy Spirit! 1. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 ‘be filled with the Spirit’ literally means to ‘keep on being filled with the Spirit.’ 2. Be purified by the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 The way we live should declare that the Holy Spirit is within us. 1 Corinthians 3:16 If He is in us and we are His temple, then shouldn’t there be a huge difference between the person living in the Holy Spirit and the person who is not? +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

The Holy Spirit- Part 1

"This is not the day or the time to play church or play Christianity. This is the time to engage with the Spirit of God and see Him do mighty things." --Pastor Steve Dow Engage with Holy Spirit John 14-16 January 7, 2024 “From my perspective, the Holy Spirit is tragically neglected and, for all practical purposes, forgotten. While no evangelical would deny His existence…there are millions of churchgoers across America who cannot confidently say they have experienced His presence or action in their lives over the past year. And many of them do not believe they can.” Francis Chan John 14:16-17 – “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.” The word “another” means, “one of the same kind or quality.” Holy Spirit is not a power to experience but a Person to know. John 14:26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” John 15:26 – “But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.” The Holy Spirit bears witness about Jesus. The Helper doesn’t promote Himself but loves to point people to Christ. John 16:7 - “Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.” “advantage”, means, “useful, profitable or beneficial. Question: Would you rather have Jesus right next to you or have the Holy Spirit within you? A.W. Tozer wrote, “If the Holy Spirit was withdrawn from the church today, 95 percent of what we do would go on and no one would know the difference. If the Holy Spirit had been withdrawn from the New Testament church, 95 percent of what they did would stop, and everybody would know the difference.” +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

The Heart of Christmas - Part 3 - The Hope of Christmas Brings Joy

The Hope of Christmas brings Joy John 1:14 December 10, 2023 Jesus was born to bring JOY! A joy that is not dependent on circumstances. John describes the Incarnation of Jesus-God putting on skin and living as one of us among us. The birth of Jesus gives us reason to live in Joy. 1. We can have joy because God came to us. Life can look like a messy disaster from out perspective, but if we look closely, we might see God coming near us to bring us joy! Christianity is the ONLY world religion where deity does what is necessary to unite with humanity. Romans 5:8 teaches us there isn’t a nice or naughty list, rather God’s grace is offered to us generously and without cost! 2. God loves us just as we are, and loves us too much to leave us that way.; You are LOVED by God. Not just tolerated or put up with but LOVED! Key to understanding abiding joy: Jesus came full of grace and truth. Grace- Greek Charis-meaning favor, kindness, or a gift of blessing. Truth-Greek-Aletheia-meaning divine reality revealed to man. Jesus holds grace in one hand to allow us to be accepted into the family of God and truth in the other hand to show us areas of our lives that must be transformed. 1 John 4:9 Joy is the result of Grace. We can experience joy in our lives no matter the circumstances because God is with us, and God is for us! +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

The Heart of Christmas - Part 2 - Peace Is the Hope of Christmas

Peace is the hope of Christmas Luke 2:8-14 December 3, 2023 The reason for Jesus’ birth is God’s deep desire to see his creation no longer broken and in conflict but rather restored and at peace. John 14:7 Jeremiah 26:3 Shepherds in first century Israel were individuals who existed on the fringe of society. In a recent survey, nearly one-third of those questioned said that of all the people mentioned in the Christmas story, they identified the most with the shepherds. Peace is the world’s greatest need. Romans 5:10 Jesus reconciles us to God. Colossians 1:19-22 Peace does not mean you won’t have any problems. Peace means that your problems won’t have you. God desires us to make peace with ourselves. God desires us to make peace with others. His peace covers our past, meets us in our present, and is a promise for the future. Philippians 4:7 Peace is our Purpose. Matthew 5:9 Colossians 3:15 It is not optional for us to live in peace. It is an expectation that Jesus has for his followers. +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

The Heart of Chritmas - Part 1 - Hope

The Heart of Christmas-HOPE Isaiah 9:2-7 November 26, 2023 Two major statements come from Isaiah 9:2-7: 1. Isaiah acknowledges the brokenness and darkness surrounding Israel due to sin and corruption. 2. Isaiah declared the HOPE of a dawning light through the birth of a child that would one day make all things right. Matthew made the connection between Isaiah and the birth of Jesus. Matthew 1:22-23 The Child would be named Immanuel-God with us! 1. The presence of darkness threatens our hope. Psalm 42:11 Christmas is a reminder that whatever it is we hope for in our lives—healing, restoration, forgiveness, or a fresh start—it is available to us through Immanuel, who is God with us. 2. God’s Presence has come to give us Hope. Romans 15:4 The birth of Jesus because it reminds us that God can be trusted to come through and meet us in our greatest time of need. 3. At the heart of Christmas is Hope. Hebrews 6:19 Our God is always right on time. He knows exactly what we need, and He can be trusted to reveal the light of Christ in order to push back the darkness in our lives. Woke or Awake? - Part 6 - Me-ology

WOKE OR AWAKE? : ME-OLOGY November 19, 2023 . WOKE DEFINITION It’s an authoritarian worldview that seeks to deconstruct the foundations of our Christian faith by overwhelming, overpowering, and overthrowing those who do not adhere to its ideology. Theology is He-ology - The Study of God…who He is, His greatness, His Holiness. Woke-ology is Me-ology - The Study of Me Focus on Me. Me-ologians…My success…Joy… Vindication is the priority of Jesus because He loves me. Things said by Me-ology “Christians:” “God is getting ready to disappoint everybody who expected you to fail.” “If you’re weak, you don’t say you’re weak. Say, ‘I’m strong.’” “The more God-like you become, the more like God you can get things done.” “The process is painful, but the promotion is awesome.” “When you call your Heavenly Father, the answer is always YES.” Me-ology is Inconsistent and Disappointing! Still not…Vindicated…Hurting…Breakthrough…Healed…New Platform…Rich. What about Christians in the world who are suffering…Iran…China?? He-ology…Jesus is the Story…He came to rescue me from sin. His priority isn’t my happiness…Holiness! Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. He-ology is consistent and compelling… Jesus Is The Point and I’m A Piece! John 3:28-30 You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, 'I am not the Christ,' but, 'I have been sent before Him. 29He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. 30He must increase, but I must decrease. My life is about His name being greater not mine… not about me winning….He’s the winner. Jesus Is The Owner and I’m The Operator! John 3:34-35 (NLT) 34 “For he is sent by God. He speaks God’s words, for God gives him the Spirit without limit. 35 The Father loves his Son and has put everything into his hands.” He is the owner of it all and I get to manage some of it. Jesus Is Worthy and I’m Willing! Matthew 11:4-6 (NLT) 4 “Jesus told them, Go back to John and tell him what you have heard and seen— 5 the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor.’ 6 And He added, ‘God blesses those who do not fall away because of Me.’” He’s good in the good times and in the bad! WOKE OR AWAKE? : WOKE-OLOGY WHAT IS WOKE-OLOGY? I am CENTRAL and the source of TRUTH. WHAT IS A WOKE CHURCH? 1. They Emphasize the LOVE of God over the HOLINESS of God Hebrews 12:14 (NIV-1984) “Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” 2. They Offer an OFFENSIVE – Free Environment 2 Timothy 4:3 “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.” 3. They Streamline Heaven and AIR-CONDITION Hell Matthew 13:40-42 (NLT) 40 “Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. 41 The Son of Man will send His angels, and they will remove from His Kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 4. They Promote the ME-ISTIC Mentality – “You’re the STAR of Your Story” Colossians 1:18 “And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy.” 5. They Concentrate on Your POTENTIAL over Your Depravity Romans 3:10-12 (NLT) 10 “No one is righteous—not even one. 11 No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. 12 All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” 6. They Preach DELIVERANCE over Perseverance Philippians 3:12 (NKJV) “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.” 7. They Believe “How You FEEL Becomes the FACTS” Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” Love - Holiness Kindness - Offensive Heaven - Hell Me - God Destiny - Depravity Deliverance - Perseverance Emotion – Truth +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

God Meant It for Good by Bruce McDonald of Regions Beyond International

Bruce and Becky McDonald are missionaries that have spent more than thirty years circling the globe fulfilling the great commission. Following God's will, they have lived and ministered in the regions beyond, including the USSR, Latvia, Russia, Congo, Sudan and Rwanda. Since moving onto the mission field, their vision has been to reach the ares where few have dared to go and where the gospel is virtually unknown. Once into these regions beyond, they have worked to establish the church by building a foundation and training nationals for positions of pastoral leadership. In areas where no churches exist, they work with trained pastors to conduct crusades in conjunction with the new churches. Primary areas of ministry include some of the most difficult places on earth that are often torn with war, famine (spiritual and natural), political unrest, severe climates and economic instability. From their base, they can easily reach their main areas of ministry concentration: Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, Bangladesh, North Africa, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Cost of the Cross

The Cost of the Cross Hebrews 13:11-13 (TPT) Never let the truth of the cost of the cross grow dim. Our redemption was premeditated, prescribed, and precise. Isaiah 53:4-5 The fact that Jesus was crucified ‘outside the walls’ has great significance. 1. Outside the Walls was the place of rejection. The area outside the ‘camp’ was ‘no man’s land.’ Foreigners lived outside the walls, people who had no place in the community. Lepers, the contagious, the suffering lived ‘outside the walls.’ The waste dump was outside the walls. 2. Outside the Walls was a place of identification. By being crucified ‘outside the city walls,’ Jesus identified with everyone and everything that was rejected. Blind Bartimaeus was outside the city of Jerico. Mark 10:46-52 Jesus was crucified with criminals. Isaiah 53:12 Jesus was crucified outside the walls because He was our sin offering. 3. Outside the Walls was the place of REDEMPTION. Luke 15 has three stories of redemption. The lost coin The lost sheep The lost son Every story of redemption has five things in common: 1. Something valuable is lost. God deeply values things that are lost. 2. There is an intensive search that occurs. The point-God is waiting, searching, looking, and longing for people who are lost. 3. That which was lost is found. The difference between the two sons-one is a slave to his impulses the other to his duty. But only one recognizes his hopelessness. 4. A great celebration follows. The party thrown by the father in the Parable of the Lost Son is significant. It celebrated the son’s repentance, but it also publicly restored and honored him. This is God’s love and forgiveness. 5. God and the angels rejoice in Heaven. The party isn’t just on earth when a sinner repents, all of Heaven rejoices! +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

Discarded

Exodus 2:11-15 Exodus 4:10-12 The Scripture is filled with examples of people who were discarded, thrown by the wayside, deemed unqualified. Moses is one such story. His sin, murder, caused him to flee from God’s destiny. He was convinced of his uselessness. As a result, he determined to stay out of sight. What caused you to be discarded? A broken heart, broken faith, broken confidence, broken trust, broken hope? 1. God is attracted to the broken and discarded. Psalm 34:17 God is activated by our brokenness. Psalm 147:3 2. Brokenness doesn’t have to be fatal or final. Never put a period where God put a comma. God is all about redeeming, renewing, and restoring people. Your brokenness is not the final word. Often, we tend to avoid dealing with the very thing God wants to heal and use. 3. Broken doesn’t equal useless. The greater the breaking, the greater potential for use. What man discards, God destines. 1 Corinthians 1:27 Brokenness can reveal gaps and cracks through which God shines! God isn’t seen in our strength but in our weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9 +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

What Would Jesus Say? - Part 4

What Would Jesus Say? John 15:5 September 10, 2023 Jesus said, “I am the Vine, you are the branches,” He is the source of life. A branch cannot survive, let alone bear fruit, without the vine. The fruit Jesus speaks of is not good deeds or moral behavior, rather the character traits developed by the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22 The power of the Vine changes us from the inside out. When we abide in the Vine we are not improved versions of our old selves. 2 Corinthians 5:17 This power gives strength to endure, peace to remain calm and hope to keep pressing on, in the middle of the storm. This power is freely given to all who choose to accept it. Remaining connected to the Vine, Jesus, is not a one-time decision, but a daily commitment. We stay connected through prayer, the Bible, and relationships with other believers. What does this fruit look like? Love: Mark 12:30-31 John 13:34-35 Joy: Galatians 5:22 Peace: Philippians 4:7 Patience: Colossians 3:12 Kindness: Romans 15:14 Faithfulness: 1 Corinthians 4:2 Gentleness: Ephesians 4:2 Self-Control: 2 Peter 1:5-7 Good Works: Matthew 5:16 Ephesians 2:10 Being connected to the Vine produces real fruit over a lifetime. This is a marathon, not a sprint. 1 Corinthians 9:24 +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

What Would Jesus Say? - Part 3

What Would Jesus Say? John 10:9 September 3, 2023 Jesus said, “I am the door, anyone who enters by Me shall be saved..” John 10:9 This truth stands in sharp contrast to a world and culture that wants to believe there are infinite roads to eternal salvation. This is an open invitation to anyone who believes in Him. It is not restricted by race, social status, or past sins. A door is an entry point that leads us from one place to another. This invitation is: a call to salvation and a new way of life a call to transformation Romans 12:1-2 Romans 8:1-1, 11 Philippians 1:6 Faith is required to enter. Faith is not just acceptance of God, but a complete trust and confidence in His promises. Faith is necessary for salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 Faith is necessary for spiritual growth and transformation. Faith is necessary for overcoming life’s challenges. Faith is believing in the unseen, in the promises of God, even when our circumstances suggest otherwise. The Promise: Salvation-but it’s not just about eternal life in heaven, it is also about a fulfilled and abundant life here on earth. The offer of salvation is a beacon of hope in a world filled with uncertainty and despair. It reassures us that no matter what challenges we face in this life, we have a Savior who has overcome the world and who offers us the chance to share in His victory. +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

What Would Jesus Say? - Part 2

John 8:12 We are living in a culture that is dominated by darkness. Dominated by deceit. Dominated by false teachings. Seeing Romans 1:18-31 played out before our eyes. Gallop Survey published February 22, 2022 says, “A record 7.1 percent of U.S. adults self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or something other than heterosexual, and members of Generation Z are driving the growth.” “21 percent of Gen Zers — which Gallup defines as those born between 1997 and 2003 — making them the generational group with the largest proportion of LGBTQ people. Among millennials, 10.5 percent self-identify as LGBTQ, while 4.2 percent of Generation X, 2.6 percent of baby boomers.” Even the Christians are being deceived. Pew Research Center in a survey conducted by Claire Gecewicz, and published October 1, 2018 states, “Most American adults self-identify as Christians. But many Christians also hold what are sometimes characterized as “New Age” beliefs – including belief in reincarnation, astrology, psychics and the presence of spiritual energy in physical objects like mountains or trees. “Overall, roughly six-in-ten American adults accept at least one of these New Age beliefs. Specifically, four- n ten believe in psychics and that spiritual energy can be found in physical objects, while somewhat smaller shares express belief in reincarnation (33%) and astrology (29%).” Scripture refutes these beliefs: 1 John 4:1-3 2 Timothy 3:1-5 In this culture, What would Jesus Say? John 8:12 “I am the Light of the World!” Psalm 119:130 2 Corinthians 4:6 John 1:4-5 When the Light of the World shines, darkness cannot put it out. It can't be extinguished. It will continue to do what light does-drive out darkness! 1. The Light of Jesus Guides Us. Psalm 119:105 His Light reveals Truth! John 14:6 His Light shows us how to live. His Light provides hope. Psalm 30:5 2. There is Power in Jesus’ Light. Colossians 1:13-14 When we allow Jesus' light to shine on our lives, it exposes our sins, our weaknesses, and our shortcomings. But it doesn't leave us in a state of condemnation--leads us to repentance, forgiveness, and ultimately, transformation. This promise of eternal life is not just about the destination, but about the journey. It's about living a life that is not just about us, but about Him. It's about living a life that is not just about what we can get, but about what we can give. Matthew 16:25 We are to reflect the light of Christ to others. We are windows through which the light shines. Where can you shine this coming week? What Would Jesus Say?

What Would Jesus Say? John 6:35 August 20, 2023 What would Jesus say to people who are both spiritually and physically hungry? John 6:35 “I am the Bread of life” What does that mean? It’s a promise of complete satisfaction. It doesn't mean we won't have physical needs or face challenges in this life. But it means that in Christ, we have the assurance of His presence, the comfort of His love, and the hope of eternal life, we have everything we need! 2 Peter 1:3-4 When Jesus declares, "I am the Bread of Life," He is saying that He is essential to our spiritual life. Without Him, our souls starve and wither, just as our bodies would without physical food. The world offers many things that promise to satisfy our hunger. Wealth, success, power, pleasure to make us happy, but often, they leave us feeling empty and unsatisfied. Psalm 34:8 We falsely believe that if we have enough, we’ll be enough. False promises pass away. The promises of God never fade. 1 John 2:17 +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally

There is Power in the Name of Jesus: Divine Healing by Pastor Steve Dow

There is Power in the Name of Jesus: Divine Healing Psalms 107:13-22 Hebrews 4:15-16 August 13, 2023 Is Divine Healing for today? John 14:12-14 Mark 16:18 James 5:15-16 Why do we see so many healings in the Third World but not in the Western World? It is not a lack of faith, but a lack of opportunity! 1. Jesus is touched with our problems. Jesus’s touch brings change to our lives. How is Jesus different from all other religious leaders? He is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. 2. Jesus is involved in the solution to our problems. By Contrast: The High Priest of Israel saw constituents. Jesus sees His bride! Eph 5:25 Matthew 8:23 Jesus touched the leper and healed him. Jesus identified with the man’s loneliness as well as his loathsomeness. Jesus was stricken, smitten, afflicted, wounded, and bruised, so we could be forgiven, comforted, and healed. Remember: Jesus Christ is the Healer! He can heal ALL sickness and disease. It isn’t the formula of our prayer, but the FOCUS of our prayer. 3. Are there prerequisites to Diving Healing? We must BELIEVE that He is able and desires to heal you. We must be in right relationship with God. The whole story of Divine Healing is JESUS! +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://allnationstallahassee.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://mobile.twitter.com/allnationstally
