So devil tries to get us to reason the word away, even implying that we can prosper if only we do what devil says. John 10:10 (Jesus says) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. The apostle Paul shows us how antichrist will work in the end time New Testament churches. 2 Thessalonians 2 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. In 1982, God explained to me the "falling away" spoken of in this scripture. The falling away are not people leaving the church. The falling away are the churches leaving the scriptures. 💥💥💥 The apostle John showed his church group that there were already MANY antichrists in their own church group. I John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. The apostle John shows us that antichrist is not one man as churches today are teaching but rather antichrist is a spirit in many men. 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 💥💥💥 The apostle Paul speaking to the Elders of the church at Ephesus: Acts 20 17 And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church. 18 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, 19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: 20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, 21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. 22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. 24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. 25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. 26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. 28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. (Preachers today who eliminate many scriptures and approve such sins as fornication, adultery, and homosexual acts.) 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 💥💥💥 God sent forth 2 angels to remove Lot (Abraham's nephew from Sodom) and to destroy Sodom where men from every quarter of the city were homosexuals. Genesis 19 1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground; 2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. 3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat. 4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them. Genesis 13:13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly. 💥💥💥 And what does God say to us in the Holy Bible about homosexual and lesbian? Romans 1 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh. (At the time of sexual intercourse the 2 become one flesh even if it is sex with a prostitute.) 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 💥💥💥 What God says in Bible about adultery: Matthew 5:32 (Jesus says) But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. * The only scriptural reason for man to divorce his wife is if she is committing fornication. * If man divorces a faithful wife and she remarries, she commits adultery and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. I Corinthians 7:10-11 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. Mark 10 (Jesus says) 7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. (At the time of sexual intercourse the 2 become 1 flesh.) 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... If you are born again, hopefully you have learned to focus on something other than your physical body as the world does. I go to physician assistant once a year in order to get a prescription for Ambien sleep aid. Other than that, I will go in if I really need help with something and can't take care of it with standard over the counter medicine in a reasonable time. I'm 86, and most of the time, I don't have to go to medical office except once a year. But I have learned to pay very little attention to my human body. Usually it gets well by itself after 2 or three days. I think God created it that way. I don't do "preventive medicine", because I don't want to do it. I don't believe in it. I have the right to choose. So I choose. But being a real Christian, I'm really not afraid to die. Recently I was so depressed by something a church woman did, I asked God to let me die. But God didn't and HE caused things to help me recover. Remember how Elijah asked to die when Jezebel was after him? But God had an angel cook him a meal out in the wilderness and after Elijah ate, things looked better to him, and he kept doing the work of a prophet of God. The outward man usually perishes. I really don't consider this to be a big deal as some church people do. So what? Life doesn't end just because we die! There is an appointed time of 70 years life in Bible, but some live longer. Many are already well past that 70 year time and they try to hang on as if they were 20. I consider this foolish and I choose not to do this nor do I choose to put myself into the medical system thinking to extend life. I only want to live as long as I can exhort the church. I've asked God to let me die the day I can no longer exhort the church. (I'm 86.) My PA thought I might be having heart attacks and she offered to administer an EKG to find out. I thought about her offer, and then said, "I don't think so." (I don't want to be caught up in this.) If I die, I die. I learned to take aspirin when the pain struck and in a few days it stopped.) I've met people who can't do anything much but think about their bodies. That is a trap I really do not plan to participate in. (Of course if the pain got bad enough, I might ask for some pills until I could die. So far, that hasn't happened. But I'm not trying to live on this earth. You have to know what your goal is.) 💥 My goal is to make provision at my house where I can read more Bible. I'm totally uninterested in going for a walk or things like that. And I eat what I want to eat. I don't mind looking like the homeless woman who can't walk. Sometimes if we do go out in the car, I put make up base over the brown blemishes that have appeared of late on my face. Sometimes I even put on light lip-stick. Why not? But I don't focus on fixing my flesh. Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... As I read the Bible, I find certain verses stand out to me. I write these verses on a piece of paper and thumb-tac the page to a drywall board which I placed beside my bed so when I lie down I can see the accumulation of verses, adding verses a day at a time. When the page is full, I look at the whole page, then get a new page and put fresh verse on it. I usually throw away the previous page. There is no end to verses that I need to see so I just go forward through the New Testament Bible (rules for today's church) and then I go into Old Testament where there are many examples of God working and promises of God. So I fill up myself and then feed the church as the Holy Spirit draws these Bible examples out of my mind and mouth! Each time we speak "The Word", by the Holy Spirit, we glorify God and edify the church! edify: build the church in the grace of God By our words we share God and cause people to see God working on this earth: helping us, instructing us in the way to go, correcting us to separate us from the way of this world. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. We renew our mind by reading the Holy Bible. Jesus, The Word, is the way to go. Recently when I felt myself growing too weak, I made provision for myself to read more Bible. I purchased 4 small Kindle tablets ($59 each). I put nothing on these tablets but Bible. So when I click on one of these tablets, the Bible comes on quickly. No emails to distract me. It is just an electric Bible. I put one at my bedside. One in bath area. One at TV chair. One in my car. Every where I live, there is a Bible that I can easily get to and read and even look up key words on Oxford dictionary which is pre-loaded on the Bible and comes up if I hold my finger down on a word in a verse of scripture. I have found this really works well for me and helps me to read more Bible. This Kindle is easy to hold, being a little smaller than my Kindle Fire 8. I can even set it so I can read it without my reading glasses. I like it because only a few verses come on the screen to allow me to concentrate better and not just speed read through the chapter. I like to meditate on the verse, looking up key words in dictionary. Everything is so mechanically easy and handy! I find I am reading much more Bible as a result of this change. Sometimes a person "peeves" us. But not wanting to hurt that person we learn to call on God to stop us from saying "that" which we want to say. And when I pray that, God always stops me. Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... In 1979, I owned a small business in Dallas, in American Indian Arts. During the time I owned this business, God was also training me for the ministry as apostle and prophet. A man was from the church I had been attending. He said he was a prophet. But he proved himself to be questionable in character. (even trying to rape me after we went to a church meeting together) The message he now brought to me: "Joan ... you know you are supposed to be a minister. You are dragging your feet ... still operating a business." I tried to argue, saying: "I've written a book, Takin Thoughts Captive, during the past 3 months." (He just smiled.) After he left my shop, I'm sure I would have prayed. I waited a few days. Then I sent a postcard to my customers informing them I would be closing my business on July 31, 1979, to go into the ministry. The devil tries to speak to us as if it is God speaking and thereby deceives many into thinking they heard from devil when they actually heard from devil showing himself that he is God. Mark 4 14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. 18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. 💥💥💥 The devils brings scripture and ideas to our mind to try to get us to follow him. He tries to make the Christian think it is God speaking. The apostle John tells us: I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: 2 Timothy 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Church people are often so excited God is speaking to them, never dreaming it is a devil who imitates God. In 1980's, a young married couple quit the secular jobs and went to Israel to "minister". They were so excited. In about a week, they were back at Word of Faith church. "What happened?" we asked. They said they could not speak the language in Israel and they could do nothing. This is example of following devil thinking they are hearing from God. John 10:10 (Jesus says) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Devils bring ideas to us to try to get us to follow him. It is happens often. We are warned many times to be careful and resist devil. I Peter 4 1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: 4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 5 Who shall give account to HIM that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. 7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 💥💥💥 Beware! God changes us greatly when we pray Psalm 51:10 over ourselves: Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. We are in for some real shocks! Those sports teams we were taught to hate, we find they really aren't any worse than our team. They are, for the most part, "flesh" just like other people. And those terrible politicians of the other party! What happened to my feeling against them? Everything changes when God is in control of my heart and my spirit. Ezekiel 36 (God says) 23 And I will sanctify MY great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. 24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put MY spirit within you, and cause you to walk in MY statutes, and ye shall keep MY judgments, and do them. So when we pray, asking God to cleanse our heart and to give us a "right" spirit, we are shocked. David prayed: Psalm 51 1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to THY lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of THY tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin David asked God to do this for him. I find it much easier to ask God to cleanse me than to try to cleanse myself, so I've begun doing this and found myself to be changed by God! 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. When I have "rubbed against the world" I realize some of the thinking of the world may have clung to my thinking so I often pray the following verse 10, and sometimes after praying verse 10, I will even have the sensation of instantly being cleansed by God and there will be such peace. Nothing hides from God! 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. Pam Padgett told me this last night: For many years when a scripture would be called to my attention or stood out to me when reading the Bible, I would write that scripture out on a piece of paper which I kept in my pocket. When I would be in the bathroom or at work waiting for a meeting to start or walking the dogs, I would take the piece of paper out of my pocket and go over some of these scriptures. I kept adding scriptures to this piece of paper until it was full, then start another piece of paper. Since having a smart-phone, which I keep with me most of the time, I have started keeping scriptures on it so I can review them easily. I always want the scripture to become a part of me, not just something I know in my mind, but something that is part of me. Pam was different from the others who were in our church group. She had faith like I have. I always wondered why. I had been taken into heaven twice so I had a very big advantage, but Pam didn't have that type of thing happen like I did. Yet we were the same. Now I know. We were handling scripture the same way, making those verses to be a part of us. Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Too often, we humans, think we can do it ourselves. I have learned I can't trust in myself. Instead, I learned to trust in God. I'm sure God can save me and change me and nothing can hide from God so if perchance a devil or two has hid in me God sees the problem and casts those devils out of me by HIS Holy Spirit. God caused me to be born again on August 5, 1975, by the word HE gave me: "Joan ... you know those mistakes you've been making all these years? Those weren't mistakes. Those were sins." "SINS?" I thought they were mistakes. God changed me instantly that night. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. God caused me to be a new creature, born again, that same night that HE spoke to me when I was 37 years old. I had gone forward when I was 15 and was baptized in water because I didn't want to go to hell. But I couldn't change myself by what I did. Neither can I change my heart by my efforts or by reading self improvement books. God can change me instantly by what HE does and nothing hides from God. After I was born again, I was sleeping in the night. The Holy Spirit cast 3 devils out of me. One was a double minded spirit which was skipping through my chest cavities and ran directly into the Holy Spirit. The devil tried to dart back and hide! The Holy Spirt said, "I see you... You must go from her." The devil tried to stay in me. And the Holy Spirit said, "YOU MUST GO ... YOU MUST GO ... YOU MUST GO." I felt devil tear out through my throat. I began coughing. He left through my mouth. There were 2 other devils that were cast out of me but their name was not revealed to me. Certainly the Word, the Bible, can also make devils leave ... especially when we do scripture shown us by the Holy Spirit. God can do this! 💥💥💥 When she was a teenager, God revealed to Pam Padgett that if she died that night she would go to hell and that her only hope was God. (I don't believe any church saves us. God saves us by HIS will and HIS word in HIS timing.) Pam cried out to God for help. HE helped her, causing her to be born again and to be saved. And HE gave Pam HIS Holy Spirit to live in her. Pam said she knew after that "something" of God was in her. Years later she came to know it was God's Holy Spirit that was in her. I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? I Corinthians 12:27-28 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 28 And God hath set some in the church (to care for the church as ministers), first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Each person born again by God has the Holy Spirit living in him to teach him, and to guide him. Jesus says: John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 16:13 Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come. I Corinthians 2 (The Holy Spirit searches the heart of God to reveal to us the will of God) 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Our own flesh speaks thoughts to our mind to fulfill desires of the flesh, often to destroy us. God speak thoughts to our mind also, but to keep us from destructions of flesh and devils. John 10:10 Jesus says: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. So which thoughts are of God? I John 4 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (Evil spirits often bring thoughts to you that tell you what will happen if you do "that" which God told you. Those spirit speak opposite to what God says.) 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. I often say to that spirit that brought that thought: "Do you confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh?" And I will have brought to my mind: "Yes" or "No" Sometimes we try the spirit by scriptures which tell you the characteristics of the Word from above. James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Matthew 11:30 Jesus says: For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. The devil tries to imitate God and make you think he is God speaking to you. Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... When I drift off into temporary madness (insanity) against someone, I pray: Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a "right" spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10) God usually answers this prayer instantly! HE restoreth my soul. (Psalm 23:3) 💥💥💥 If I tried to do this for myself, it might take weeks, months, years ... or never. (I don't trust myself!) Sometimes I even pray for God to create a clean heart and renew a "right" spirit in the other person as-well-as in me. And HE does. 💥💥💥 There are times "our train" gets slightly off track! We end up getting "mad" over something. God is our hope for immediate cleansing. God knows exactly what has gone wrong and God can go right to the heart of the problem. Lots of times devils have wormed their way into our thinking and they cause trouble and would destroy us if possible. But we know to pray and God straightens everything out for us! Nothing is impossible with God! Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... Sometimes a person will be going a way that would destroy him (or her) and God sends HIS prophets to them. This happened in our little church group: A woman, Pam Padgett, was planning to marry. I brought strong warning to her. Barbara Preston also brought strong warning. After that Pam postponed the wedding. The man she was planning to marry told her about his son who was planning to marry a divorced woman. Pam then spoke up and told this man the following scripture. Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. After Pam shared this scripture, that man no longer wanted to marry her! Today Pam looks back and thanks God she didn't marry him. 💥💥💥 Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. 💥💥💥 Prophets of God must be brave enough to speak when they are troubled. If a person shows himself to be of God, I would not want to go against the words he brings from God. 💥💥💥 The husband of a woman in our church group had 2 small strokes. Their house has many stairs. We were concerned about this. She then told us they planned to sell that house and move into to the condominium owned by their 50+ year old son who has been twice divorced and lives in another city. We were very happy to hear this. (that was our flesh that was happy for it seemed good to us.) But God gave me an open vision. I saw a giant prehistoric type snake that was about 4 times the size of a giant alligator. It was swallowing a woman whole. Only the legs were sticking out of the mouth of the snake. Like Jonah was swallowed whole by the whale, she was being swallowed whole. Then I saw this was the woman in our church group who planned to move in with her adult aged son. Her husband, at this time, is not saved but we know he will be because God gave her a dream where he was reading Bible. Her adult son and daughter are not currently saved. Nor is her granddaughter saved. Nor is her son in law saved. She would be swallowed whole by all these unbelievers. I even asked her what she would do if her son brought a woman home to spend the night while she was living at his condo. The next thing after that, she decided she didn't want to move in with her son. She told her husband and he had no problem about changing this plan. (Her husband is the step father of the 2 adult children.) The husband improved physically and they still live in the house where they were living at the time of his strokes and they are doing fine. Who are the apostles? I once asked the Bible teacher at the church I was attending at that time. He said he didn't know. So I ask God to teach me about the New Testament apostles that were called by him. He took me to Acts 15 to teach me: A problem arose in the early church. The Jews who were now Christians asked, "Do the Gentiles have to be circumcised?" The apostles and elders met in Jerusalem to settle this doctrine of the NT church. Acts 15 1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. 2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question. 3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren. 4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them. 5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. 6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. 7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as HE did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. 10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? 11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. 12 Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them. 13 And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me: 14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for HIS name. 15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, 16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: 17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom MY name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. 18 Known unto God are all HIS works from the beginning of the world. 19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: 20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. 21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach HIM, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day. 22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren: (both Judas & Silas were prophets) Acts 15:32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them. *** By this, God showed me apostles in the church to have a special ordination to deal with scripture and church doctrines. Today the falling away spoken of by Paul that must occur before Jesus returns, has happened in many churches where those churches have "fallen away" from scriptures and have set up doctrines contrary to Bible. (2 Thess. 2:3-12) New Testament apostles today will try to get individuals to return to doctrine of the Bible, and to hold fast to scripture. For many antichrist spirits surface in churches at the end time to draw away people from Bible. Apostles deal with this until Jesus returns: 2 Thessalonians 2 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (In 1982, God said to me: "The falling away are not people leaving the churches. Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ... When you have the word of God on the issue, that is all there is. Sometimes we deal with things that are harder than other things. To jump in before you have been established by God in the way to go is very foolish indeed. But when you hear from God, there is no other counsel. So I like to move quickly before devils try to get me to do something else. 💥💥💥 Jesus says: Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Jacob wrestled with the angel until he received the blessing: Genesis 32 💥💥💥 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) Ideas come to our mind: Where did that idea come from? We have many thoughts. Where did that come from? Seems that people rarely consider the source. Sometimes people say God told them. Sometimes they recognize it is from a devil who wants to destroy them. Devils sit in the temple of God pretending they are god and some people follow what they say thinking they are god when they are devils. 2 Thessalonians 2 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
